Recycling at the Lebanon Solid Waste FacilityDid you know that you can recycle and/or dispose of most items at the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility? At the bottom of this page, please find a link called What, How & Cost that will list all of the items that can either be recycled and/or disposed of at the City of Lebanon Solid Waste Facility (located on Route 12A in West Lebanon just past Home Depot on the right as you head towards Plainfield). Please note that all Hanover residents are required to purchase "tickets" through the Town of Hanover Municipal Offices located at 41 South Main Street in Hanover (next to Molly's restaurant). The City of Lebanon uses a "punch card" system. The cost is $15.00 for one card. Each card consists of 10 punches. Each punch equals 29 pounds of trash. Or ... an example would be: Freon containing devices (this would be a refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner or dehumidifiers). First of all ... note that doors and shelves MUST be removed!! The cost for disposal is 20 coupons (or 20 punches). There are 10 punches on a card. So to dispose of this item, you would need to purchase 2 punch cards from the Hanover Municipal Office for $30.00 and then bring the card and your item down to the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility for disposal. Lebanon does not sell these tickets at the facility ... you must purchase your ticket in advance from the Hanover Municipal Offices!
