FLUORESCENT BULBS

Did you know that compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs contain a small amount of mercury and are therefore considered hazardous waste?

DO NOT throw these bulbs out in your trash!!  They MUST be recycled properly.

Household residents can recycled these bulbs at one of the following locations:

Hanover or Lebanon Co-op Food Stores

Please note that most places allow only a limited quantity be brought in at a time.  For example, up to five (5) used bulbs can be turned in at the Service Desk at the Lebanon/Hanover Co-op Stores.
