Water Quality Technician The Town of Hanover, NH, an Ivy League College Community, is seeking experienced and qualified applicants for a Water Quality Technician. This union position is responsible for assisting in water treatment, water distribution, construction, assessment, water quality & supply issues, and responding to customers. Responsibilities include overseeing of all aspects of the 2.5 MGD membrane water treatment facility including budget preparation, compliance with state and federal guidelines and documents with regard to treatment, sampling, and analysis of potable drinking water. The Water Quality Tech. acts as the asst. superintendent and is responsible for the day to day operations, maintenance, and supervision of the water distribution system, projects, and unionized personnel. This position coordinates work with contractors and has direct contact with the public as well as state and local officials. The ability to communicate & work well on all levels is crucial. This position requires a min. of 5 yrs. exp. in the water industry, NH grade 2 distribution license & a NH grade 3 water treatment license. After School Program Assistant & Program Counselors The Town of Hanover is seeking creative and energetic individuals to fill the positions of After School Program Assistant and After School Program Counselors. This is a new program developed and designed for 4th through 6th grade students throughout the school year. Interested candidates must be able to interact and communicate well with students, staff, and parents. The After School Program hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and Wednesdays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The After School Program Assistant is a 20 hr. per week position which pays a rate of $13.00 per hour. The After School Program Counselor rate of pay is $8.00 and allows flexibility with the number of days and weekly hours. Individuals interested in the Program Counselor position must be available to work 2-5 days per week.
