Fire Department PermitsLP Gas and Heating Oil Burners Permits can be obtained by contacting the Hanover Fire Department or by printing out the forms below and bring them to the Fire Department. Permits can be paid for at the Hanover Fire Department or by credit card at the following link: http://www.officialpayments.com/ Licensing and certificates are required for fireworks displays and can be obtained by contacting: State of New Hampshire Department of Safety Division of State Police Permits and Licensing Bureau Tel.: 271-3575 Outside Burning Permits are required unless there is a snow cover; however, we encourage people to call prior to kindling of the fire so that we have knowledge of it. Permits are issued by on-duty personnel and can be obtained at the Main Station. Check Today's Fire Danger Level New Hampshire Fire Permit Rulses and Regulations Places of Public Assembly Permits are issued at the Main Station once an inspection as been completed. Places of Public Assembly are defined as buildings or portions of buildings used for gathering together 50 or more people for purposes such as deliberations, worship, entertainment, eating, drinking, amusement (e.g. auditoriums, conference rooms, dance halls, drinking establishments, gymnasiums, theaters, etc.)
