Fire Department PermitsLP Gas and Heating Oil BurnersPermits can be obtained by contacting the Hanover Fire Department or by printing out the forms below and bring them to the Fire Department. Permits can be paid for at the Hanover Fire Department or by credit card at the following link: http:www.officialpayments.com 1) Fire Dept Permit Instructions 2) Fire Dept Oil Burner Permit Or Fire Dept LP Gas Permit FireworksLicensing and certificates are required for fireworks displays and can be obtained by contacting: State of New Hampshire Department of SafetyDivision of State Police Permits and Licensing Bureau Tel.: 271-3575 Outside BurningPermits are required unless there is a snow cover; however, we encourage people to call prior to kindling of the fire so that we have knowledge of it. Permits are issued by on-duty personnel and can be obtained at the Main Station. Places of Public Assembly are defined as buildings or portions of buildings used for gathering together 50 or more people for purposes such as deliberations, worship, entertainment, eating, drinking, amusement (e.g. auditoriums, conference rooms, dance halls, drinking establishments, gymnasiums, theaters, etc.)
