Vendor PermitsAny person seeking the issuance of a Vendor Permit shall file an application with the Town Clerk on the form provided. An application for a Vendor Permit shall include the following information: name/address/telephone number of the person seeking to obtain the permit; a brief description of the nature of the person's business and the merchandise to be sold, displayed or distributed; a statement describing the dimensions, construction and appearance of the person's stand; and a certified copy of a Certificate of Insurance issued to the person for public liability insurance for personal injury and property damage in the amount of not less than $500,000 from an insurance company authorized to do business in the State of New Hampshire Additional information on the insurance requirement is contained in the Town's Street Vendor Ordinance.Vendor Permits are available on a daily basis for a fee of $15.00/day. There is also a bidding procedure for a nine-month term for one of the three spaces directly in front of the Municipal Building. The nine-month term runs from March 1st through November 30th each year and the minimum acceptable bid for the nine month term is $1,200.
