Good question! We hope this new monthly update will help answer that. Going forward, we will be sending emails approximately once per month with general Town information that you might find useful, in addition to sending emails about anything specific you may have signed up for in the past.
Beyond this email, we'd like to introduce you to one other new way to stay updated: the Hanover Happenings podcast, hosted by our new Town Manger, Alex Torpey. On this monthly podcast, Alex will walk us through items covered in Selectboard meetings, summarize an administrative report on Town activities, and going forward will include updates such as,
Introducing a Town employee to you each month and/or spotlighting a volunteer or business owner
Providing an update on interesting activities and programs different departments and committees are working on, and
Discussing relevant topics about what's happening in town.
Each episode will be about 20 to 30 minutes long, and can be found on popular podcast players, such as Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Google, and Stitcher. The updates will also be posted to the website and emailed out here.
