Water Meter Replacements-Schedule Your Appointment Today
The Hanover Water Department has been undergoing a water meter upgrade project to replace meters which are at the end of their service life or will be in the very near future. The existing meters will be replaced with Badger meters that will provide residents with visual information on their meter as well as access to a new portal system (see below for more information). The new meters will transmit data to the Water Department via cellular transmission and will help with quarterly billing. Postcards have been being mailed in groups notifying residents and asking that they schedule an appointment to replace the meter and transmitting device. Technicians will be knocking on doors as time allows. If the available days and times do not work please contact Christina.hall@hanovernh.org or call 603-640-3384, to schedule an appointment.
Please note that ALL properties on the Town's water and or sewer system will be required to have this upgraded meter. If you have not received a notice yet, you may still schedule your appointment now.
To schedule your appointment online, please select here.
Once your meter has been changed, you will be able to Track Your Water Use With Eye On Water!
In an effort to continually improve our customer service, we offer secure access to your household’s water usage data through EyeOnWater®.
This tool shows your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly usage activity through easy-to-understand consumption graphs to help you monitor and conserve water use.
Access EyeOnWater through a secure smartphone app or online portal to gain a greater understanding of how much water you’re using to reduce use and save on water bills.
This tool is available through our utility at no additional cost to you—sign up for free today at https://eyeonwater.com/signup. You will need your account number, which begins with a “U” (or a “9” if you are a sewer-only customer) as well as service address zip code. Your account number can be found on your most recent water/sewer bill.
A mobile app is also available. Search “eye on water” in your app store.
Please allow approximately one week from the installation of your new meter to gain access to this customer portal. If you need assistance with your account number, please contact Adriane at the Water Department at 603.640.3372.
