Recyclables and many other items can be disposed of at the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility (Route 12A in West Lebanon just past Home Depot, on the right as you head towards Plainfield).
Recycling is free for Hanover residents, however, effective September 1st, 2021, a permit is required. Apply for a permit.
The City of Lebanon uses a "punch card" system for items other than recyclables. The cost is $15 for one card. Each card consists of 10 punches. Each punch is good for the disposal of one household bag of trash; 2 punches for a contractor's bag.
