Cemetery Trustees Board

The Board of Cemetery Trustees is made up of three community members and are elected for three-year terms by ballot vote at the annual town meeting.  This three-member board is responsible for overseeing the care and maintenance of cemeteries in Hanover. Cemetery Trustees establish bylaws  & Cemetery Ordinance for the care, protection, preservation, and use of the cemeteries.  Working with the Parks and Recreation Department the Cemetery Trustees prepare an annual budget and arrange for appropriate maintenance of the cemeteries.

The Cemetery Trustees typically meet every other month at 9am on the second Tuesday of the month at the RWB Community Center. 
Meetings take place in the months of January, March, May, July, September, & November.
